Today, Ann ended at her Spanish lesson earlier and so when I ended at Myth lesson, we met in the locker room.
As I had some more time till going to impro, we of course decided to spend it together. We left school and sat on a bench, in a rather unfrequented street. Well, to be precise, I sat on the bench and Ann sat on me. Apart from talking, we kissed and hugged each other.
And then a woman was passing by. Fine. Yet she told us: "Perhaps you could go to do this home. There are children returning through here from school." Ann was at point of saying an unpleasant remark, yet the woman quickly went away.
Well, though some people were passing by sometimes, no children at all during the half an hour we were there. Yet even if the children had been passing by, who should care?
And after all, why should I listen to a morose hag. I was acting in accord with my values, so I don't have to care what others think...
Yet it made me think. Not about my behavior. No. Rather about the behavior of the woman. Why she says something like this? Does she think kissing is an evil act? Or does she have personal problems and need direct her aggression on a substituting target? Why should someone react so unpleasantly to some unknown people, without any good reason?
