Visiting Lan

After returning from Mestecko, I ate something, showered and then went to Budejovicka. We should have met there with Kriza and go to visit Lan. I had told Kriza the day before, to ask Lan, when we should come and to send me an e-mail, where we would meet each other.
She sent me an e-mail we would meet at 15.00 at Budejovicka and then go to Lan. However I didn't respond by e-mail, so she thought I won't be there.
So when I was there, she wasn't. I was thinking about what to do. After a while, I decided to go to her to Roztyly. What a surprise, she was there! I disturbed her mother during some flower arranging. Meanwhile, Kriza was engraving runes into wood. Well, so she called Lan and Lan agreed that we come.
Lan lives in Nusle. She had showed us once the house where she lives, so we found it after a while. Yet we didn't know in which flat she lived. Kriza signaled her by cellphone and Lan came for us.
We entered. Lan told us they had moved in this place only recently, but it seemed to me already nicely equipped. We met Lan's mother. Unlike Lan, she doesn't speak Czech very well yet, so we couldn't talk a lot. However Lan told us we made a good impression... We three then talked for a while. We were solving some derivatives as well, as Kriza told us she couldn't compute one.
I was surprised by some very oddly shaped cactuses. Lan told it's because they don't have enough light there, so they grow ugly, but I quite liked the shape (at least I haven't seen such before). Also we saw a big sack full of rice. Lan told us the rice which is commonly available in shops in the Czech Republic is disgusting and that they buy it from a specialized shop which imports it directly from Asia. I must taste it some day...
Then we went to Aja. Lan hadn't been allowed to go before, but we told her that she tell her mother once more. So Lan tried it. She went to the second room to ask her. Kriza and me were just listening. We didn't understand anything, as they talked in Vietnamese, but the tone of the voice was interesting... ;-)
But Lan was allowed to. Hurrah! So we set off.
