English maturita questions

Prof Dibova gave us the maturita questions from English and we consulted it during the lesson. Furthermore we were told we'd be probably examined by prof Dibova (of course) and by prof Vobecka (or vice versa when it concerns the second half). Well, I could imagine someone other than Vobecka...
We'll be given one topic and also an unknown text. Prof Dibova said she had a lot of the texts and that she'd choose it so that it suits the student. We should start with either the text or the question, what suits us more.
Now the questions:

  1. The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

  2. The United States of America

  3. Other English-speaking countries (mostly Canada, Australia and New Zealand, we can talk about other as well)

  4. The English language (why it's so important today, its relationship to French, German, dialects)

  5. The Czech Republic (it's not clear why this question and the one about Prague is here, but whatever...)

  6. London (I've been there, but I doubt I'd be able to talk about it much)

  7. Washington, New York (I haven't been there, I'll have to learn something about these as well as about London)

  8. Prague

  9. The political systems of the United Kingdom, the United States and the Czech Republic and their comparison

  10. The education systems in the United Kingdom, the United States and the Czech Republic (oops)

  11. Holidays and festivals in the United Kingdom, the United States and the Czech Republic (help me! I don't even know about the Czech ones)

  12. Reading: my favorite English-speaking author (doesn't mean one had to read it in English, anyway I consider Robert Jordan as I read a big part of the Wheel of Time in English)

  13. Housing in the United Kingdom, the United States and the Czech Republic (I know nothing)

  14. Environmental protection (that's just fine for me)

  15. Health and illness (and lifestyle)

  16. Interpersonal relationships (prof Dibova says it's a topic for girls, yet I find it just fine)

  17. Art and culture (a problem for such a barbarian that I am)

  18. Mass media (TV, radio, newspapers, internet)

  19. Transport and travel (at least I can talk about roller skating)

  20. Leisure time and hobbies

  21. Sports and games (as I am not very sportive, I'd rather stick to the games; yet we'll be supposed to tell also about USA and UK and their sports...)

  22. Food and drink (no problem for me ;-)

  23. Consumer society (created from two topics of past: shopping and fashion)

  24. Jobs, choice of career

  25. Global issues (the world is all doomed etc.)
