Arrival to Villa Ana

OK, I have arrived to Villa Ana. With a bus of Dominguez company, cama (better to sleep than semicama) service.
Bad news: my cell phone can't connect to the net, so I can't receive messages.
Good news: there is something like an internet cafe (well, it's actually in a local "supermarket", it works however). There are many things to do, but I may have the possibility to write on the blog sometimes and you can send me e-mails as well.
The local people greeted us very warmly and also very curiously. They seem not to have travelled very much, but they try to follow the information coming from all over the world - often in a very confused manner.
The volunteers are fine (some finer than others). I don't like a lot of them smoke and also some 6 out of 10 of us are positively francophone, so they speak French with each other...Not very nice. I'm the youngest of the volunteers. There are 3 volunteers from France, 2 from Belgium, 1 from England (used to live in France for a long time), me, one Japanese (speaks only English and Japanese, but tries to pick up as much Spanish as possible and uses me as a translator :-) One Mexican and one Italian should yet arrive. It's tempting to make stereotypes based on these nationalities, but I'm not able to describe them all now.
There are mostly girls, just two boys, one other should arrive in Wednesday.
There used to be a tannin factory (see more here), owned by English company Forestal. They cut off all the forests that used to be here, but on the other hand they created these villages (Villa Ana, Villa Guillermina and others) and created "culture" here.
It's absolutely strange here, I feel...weirdly. Everything is so different...
