I was very tired, so after returning from the school, I was sleeping. Yet, surprisingly, I woke early enough to go to the lesson just at time (maybe because I set on the alarm clock...)
This time, Kriza didn't come (as Lan's chaperon) and she won't be usually coming in the future as well, as she has lessons of belly dancing. So, if there's anyone willing to come and look at us, they may ask Lan (or me).
We practiced the dances we should have already known, learned basics of two new dances - waltz and chacha - and also improved our jive steps.
Waltz seemed rather easy, though I always forgotten which leg I used the last time, thus setting off with the bad one. I had some troubles when beginning with chacha, because our teachers were adding new steps very quickly, but then it went rather well. Lan and me were even commended for our chacha dancing by one of the assistants :-)
Then Hes (the teacher) told us he wanted the couples to change partners more frequently (than at his lessons in the past, apparently). Both for uprooting mistakes and for getting one to know others more...
Lan always chose someone who danced well, though once she chose someone who wasn't able to understand her...
I met Zuzka and Anezka (I have to write down the names, else I forget it. Recently, Ala told me that, during the dance lessons, she'd hated when someone forgot her name or other stuff she said about herself and she had had to repeat it for him - so I said I'd try to remember...). Zuzka attends Gybu as well. But the 5B class (so she's three years younger than me). She wasn't very excited, actually she seemed veeeery bored. But, she told me, dancing is a part of "general education" and most of her class attends the lessons, so she does as well. Well, most of my class attended the dance school at just that age as well...
Anezka attends Christian gymnazium in Hostivar. She danced as if she had had previous experience, so I asked her if she'd danced it before. She told me that she danced flamenco.
Actually, I feel it's easier for me to dance fast dances, as I have to concentrate. Dancing slowly, I become kind of bored and I do not concentrate.
