Yesterday, Maf, Vosta, Ann, Laupi, Meldath and me went to the concert of Asonance.
Vosta lured me on that they wouldn't play too loud music and it was even rather true :-)
I don't go to concerts too often, but after, why not, when there are friends :-) (and it's not too loud). It took place in Culture Center Novodvorska. The building itself is pretty new and modern (though there were apparently just too little women's lavatories). Just what surprised us negatively - it was the price of the tickets. Too expensive!!! We grinned and bore it, but...
We met there Vitek and a friend of him - both former students of Gybu, now already at the university. Vitek studied sinology at the Faculty of Philosophy and he seemed very pleased with the course - and also with the people there. His friend studies at the same faculty - Hebrew studies and additionally she studies Law. She claimed she studied Hebrew studies mainly in order to learn the language and she was displeased that she's being forced to choose a second field of study apart from Hebrew.
The concert was very nice. It's not the style of music I normally listen to (it's Celtic songs), but in live, it was wonderful. Also they are two matfyz teachers in the band - Mirko Rokyta and Lubos Pick. Lubos Pick is also kind of an unofficial spokesman and he was very witty and funny - and he taught Analysis for the first graders mathematicians :-) Chance, I'll get him if I get there :-)
Then we went to a pub for a while and then, very lately, I went home to sleep - Vosta came with me, as he wouldn't have caught the bus home at that late hour. I ended in the bed later than I wanted to (second night in row), so no surprise, I feel quite tired now. But the concert was fine :-)
