Yesterday, I had just four lessons in the school. The first lesson was the "exit exam" in French. Actually, that it's called something like that doesn't mean I will care about it...
Today we go to the Lukas' weekend house; we're going to grill some meat as well, so Lukas asked me yesterday if I would help him with marinating meat. OK, at least I had some possibility how to help and better to do something than stay at home. I had never done marinating before nor I was an expert in meats (in fact I don't eat it very often).
So it was a bit grotesque sometimes, but fun :-) First we were buying meat. We lacked an expert on it, so we just bought *something*, then Lukas looked like we'd mistaken it for the right kind, then again it was OK. Then I was waiting in front of some other shop for Lukas to buy the spices. I thought that to buy one or two kind of spices...- that won't take him too much time. Naive I am!!! He was selecting those much more longer than meat itself :-) But after, it seemed he'd chosen the right one.
During the preparation itself, Lukas tried to be hyper-hygienic, not always successfully ;-) He apparently enjoyed cutting the slices, so I was left with covering it with the marinade (made of oil and spice). When we were two, it was rather quick and we talked a little as well. Also, the result satisfied us, I was attracted by the raw meat even though I was not usually too carnivorous.
