Yet another summer camp. This time, it was a camp for mail seminars solvers. I got there as well, because of my participation at Intersob.
It took place at Brno (10.9. - 16.9.) and most of people came from there (as the seminars were organized by students from MUNI; I went with Lan and Meldath, by hitchhiking - going there was easy, going back we perhaps chose a wrong exit from Brno, but we got to Prague nevertheless.
The above mentioned seminars were IT, Physics and Ecology - this was reflected in the choice of lectures. The lectures took place in the morning - one from those fields and one common, for everyone (about global issues, about science, about studying a university), in the afternoon there were games and other activities.
I regret I'm going to lose the possibility to attend camps like this one after becoming a university student; on the other hand, I felt the lectures meant for the secondary school students were mostly just too easy or not very informative for me (there were exceptions, of course).
I met a lot of nice people, also two of my future schoolmates (though I'd known them a little before).
We wrote a message for ourselves 10 years after - we hid it quite well, still, I fear 10 years are just too many for us to eventually find it. We'll see.
