Our normal program was:
The assembly began in the noon on Wednesday. It took place in a small village of Sloup in the north of the Czech Republic. So we took bus from Prague to Novy Bor and from there we went on foot. We went along a graveyard for some time. It was in a wood and Kriza and Meldath were talking about how much they'd like to be buried there, in the middle of a forest...
The whole assembly was the programming one (Meldath had lured us there - see the link above).
During the limbering up in morning one could choose either physical or mental one. I always chose the mental one - it consisted of some logical problems. This is partly because it was quite cold outside.
Food was plentiful, but I disliked the fact almost every lunch and dinner contained meat. I'm used to eating meat perhaps twice a week, so it was a bit much for me. Kriza and Meldath were taking big servings (like 14 dumplings or so) and they were frowning at me when I took just three :-)
We were quite weird even in the company of those people. There was quite a lot of people who talked just about computers and computers were all their life, also some people were shy. However I met a couple of really interesting and pleasant people.
The games were very interesting and I must appraise the organizers as they made them up really well.
The lectures were mostly well performed and understandable, but I missed non-computer ones. The only exception was the one about logic. But I must admit I got to know a lot about computers that I always wanted to know.
I admire the organizers who were really helpful and offered us to ask them about anything everytime there was enough time.
Lan was scaring other people, not just me, and she as well tickled everyone.
The first night, there was a night outside game, I was in the quickest team and we came back at 4:00.
All in all, I was going to bed in average at 3:00 (and there we often talked with Meldath for a while) and a lot of people complained about the lack of sleep. We often used the after-lunch time to sleep.
Overall it was great, even though I missed Ann a lot.
The assembly ended on today's morning (Sunday) and we went to Prague by bus.
