End of my "internship"

Today I visited the clusters laboratory of Mr Farnik for the last time. I've been going there once a week since October.
It helped me finally understand at least a bit the essence of the science (the experimental one). I had been to many Open doors days before, but it doesn't really show how the work is like.
My experience? Apart from a lot of pieces of knowledge, about physics but also about foreign countries, life and many other topics, I realized what did the work consist of - a lot of maintenance issues, finding out why a machine doesn't work the way you'd like it to, applying for grants and sometimes also measuring and interpreting results. However I can't say I don't like it in some way.
The next school year, if I have enough time, I'll try another institute participating in the Otevrena veda project.
