Went climbing once again. Nowadays just with Maf, Meldath and Meldath's friend of past - Zuzana. Seems to me a good idea to revive these friendships of past.
She seems like quite a hard-core "adventurer" to me, though she may not look like one. Meldath and Maf brought guitars, Zuzana brought ukulele with her. A funny little guitar ;-)
We arrived yesterday at night. We came to the climbing site and made a "camp" there. OK, at least a campfire. Till lately, they were playing the guitars. Ukulele sounds funny, unfortunately it didn't have much chance to sound, as the guitars were simply stronger. Guitars were untuning quickly - it was cold and then we were sitting around the fire, so again. I tried to sing now and then, but more often I stayed as close to the fire as possible. Meldath took out a chocolate. He said he was told this chocolate is really tasty - it had 90% of cocoa. We all liked it. Still, it cost 30 crowns. Plain cocoa costs 10 crowns for the same weight, so I told him it may be better to eat the simple cocoa. He looked at me in disbelief, claiming he'd never known it's possible to buy it. I am tempted to make the very concentrated chocolate (e.g. the 90%) here at home.
Night was cold, I woke up with my feet totally frozen. A good idea for the next time - take a cap and a scarf...
It seems like a wilderness, but it's near one village and it's also well known climbing site, so in the morning we were being repeatedly awakened by passers-by. Although Maf went to sleep the latest, he woke up the latest. We were sitting around the fire till 12.30 and eating and eating. Then we start climbing. Maf and Meldath did it fine (what else would you suppose ;-) Zuzana had never climbed before (on the rocks I mean) but she had no troubles. She's a crazy chimney-climber after all... I had some troubles but I also passed through a few very interesting moments - the others said they regret not having taken a camera - and of those, I had quite a strong impression.
A little unfortunate was that a real climbing club chose to climb there as well this day, so we had sometimes some llama-like feelings...but whatever...
