Hum papa hum, hum papa hum...

...yeah, that was the "lyrics" of one song during which we tried to practice samba - it sounded like an ape's singing. It's been a while since I'd danced the last time - to be precise, a fortnight ;-)
Lan had no troubles - she'd been teaching Lenka. By the way, she told me that the partner of her, when we rotated, could speak some Vietnamese, that his uncle was Vietnamese. I had a feeling I had a lot to speak about with Lan - the weekend had been looong, hadn't it?
I danced with another Misa. She goes to the sports gymnazium Nad Stolou. She smiled a lot, nice to see someone smiling other than me in these cold grim days ;-) She said she played tennis and that she didn't have that much time for dancing, that she had first come for the fourth lesson - and she missed it, though learning quickly. And one somewhat funny story :-) She met there with Squirrel (Veverka...a good translator translates everything ;-) They are friends from youth, but hadn't seen each other for years, till now - but they seemed both. Other than that I want to thank to Squirrel for helping me with salsa; she may not have understood how I was totally unable to pick up the salsa step, but she helped me nonetheless :-) :-)
We practiced samba, then learned a salsa spin (girls only, but still, it distracts ;-) And also I hadn't picked up the standard salsa step yet...Then came a rumba spin and then a waltz spin. My head is spinning even now. Our dance teacher said the waltz spin is easy, just people did it wrong all the time. Lan and me heartily agreed and danced it, just one time we danced all in opposite phase :-)
22nd December (18.00-23.30) is our winter ball. It takes place in the Congress center, just where we normally have the lessons. The tickets for dancing cost 170 Kc, you may buy it in the Center or you may tell me and I'll get it for you.
