There was the Doors open day at the faculty of nuclear and physical engineering at the technical university. While we wanted to meet in the morning, I was absolutely unable to get up - that being (hopefully) the last one negative echo of the ball. I came just around the noon, just right to get for the main info lecture.
It took two hours, but it was fun. The lecturer was absolutely perfect and you got information about everything you'd want to know. I still want to get to Matfyz, but I'll apply here as for the second choice. After all, everyone is accepted without entry exams. I'll apply for the Mathematics Engineering field.
An interesting point - you may study the bachelor of radiation engineering and then take exams as if for a medicine doctor - and be paid like one and everything like that.
Lan and Wilvarin emerged out of somewhere. I turned out they, together with also Kriza and Meldath had gone to the testing school reactor already in the morning. So I just asked them about a few things and then went there myself. I'll have yet to ask them how they'd liked it all.
The reactor was most interesting. We were shown everything, it's, after all, a reactor to be shown. The safety measures are immense and it's almost repulsive to see all the formalities you have to do while having anything in common with anything radiating.
