Once again there was a dance lesson :-) There were the "spring" holidays last time and I realized I was missing the dancing. It's been extraordinarily on Thursday this time, precisely because of the holidays.
I was very surprised as I met there an acquaintance of mine from past, pity we just recognized the presence of each other and didn't manage to talk a bit. We just told each other we had to learn to dance. Though, I'd rather expect him to attend the university students' dance course, but then, it's maybe these had been introduced just too recently.
Our dance teacher Hes was in quite a bad mood. He was being constantly irritated by our chattering. On the other hand , it's true there may have been some more noise than usually.
It was a casual lesson, meaning casual clothing and rather casual dances. At first we did some practice and then came all things new. We started with salsa. Before, I'd been almost confident about salsa, as I'd managed to finally learn the rhythm. Yet today, we were flooded by so many new steps and some spins as well. Sure, all of the learned stuff was similar to something in other dances, but nonetheless, to mix it in salsa; to be honest, I still don't know how to do it. We dedicated a lot of time to salsa, then we went over to rock'n'roll. We learned the basics during the last casual lesson, now we should elaborate on it. The way it was, I, at least, got to understand the stuff we'd learned the last time, maybe next time I'll get the present one.
After, we learned some new figures in the round dance, that was funny, and even more funny was the last dance, the "pistol waltz" - never had heard about it before, but the idea was certainly interesting :-)
