The dance lesson today...there was quite few people - especially boys... It's interesting, there were some ten more boys at the beginning of the course, but today, there were some two thirds of boys to girls. But at least there is some probability there'll be some "surplus" girls and maybe someone to go to the follow-up course with me.
It was a bit unusual lesson - we started by some training, but then Mr. Hes claimed we were going to learn the most difficult figure in the basic course - no surprise considering this was one of the last lessons :-) We were to dance the pivotal spin in waltz. Boys went to one side of the room, girls to another and we were being drilled by the teachers. I thought I knew how to do it, but then I was told I did it wrong :-)
The most of the second part was dedicated to Viennese waltz. Nothing really new. But we fervently practiced the stuff we'd already known. My head goes all way round for that.
On Friday, we're going to attend a formal dinner party, or something like that. I'm curious how it'll look like; but at least I hope food will be good :-)
