This time, it wasn't "nanecisto", but it will make a part of the maturita grade from Czech (one third of the grade). All four maturita classes wrote the composition.
We were urged to come earlier than usually, just to see the teachers had not yet come. Bzochi was distributing a piece of cake to everyone, for luck she was saying. Thanks :-)
We had four hours to write it, four topics to choose from. (the headmistress chose the four topics from the six topics she'd been presented by the Czech teachers). The topics were - a literary essay on Czech poets of the end of 19th century, an essay on environmental problems, a feuilleton about cell phones and a short story (with quite a vague frame - "for the first time"). Most people probably chose the short story, followed by those who chose the environmental essay (Ondra questioned why there'd been that many environmental topics in maturita compositions in secondary schools; I think it's just because these topics are hotly debated nowadays, nothing more).
I chose the short story, as I felt it provided me the most space for my imagination. But I lacked time to write it the way I wanted (on the other hand quite some other people actually didn't even finish the work). It also appeared surprisingly exhausting...
I don't know, I hope people wrote it well (contrary to what they were saying), as a bad grade would be an unpleasant burden for the oral maturita. And the composition should have saved us!!!
