Some remarks
- Some merchants in Casablanca refused to haggle with me, saying the price was fixed. Fixed for tourists? Anyway, I haven't seen Moroccans haggling, neither. Perhaps Casablanca is already too European.
- The Grand Mosque in Casablanca is really big; still, it seems to have been constructed mostly for prestige, as there are enough other mosques in Casablanca.
- Street food is extremely cheap here (from 1 to 3 dirhams (1dh = 3 crowns) almost everything - including meals like soup, a pseudo-gyros, sweet pastry...). On the other hand, cheese and jams are quite expensive. And it's very tasty :-) Though...I think that with the possible ingredients, maybe there may be more variety. But maybe, I haven't seen enough yet.
- I've spent several hours in a market (it was reaaaally big), to get the feeling for the prices; also just for fun.
- I've spent the night in a youth hostel. After so many days, it was refreshing, I washed my clothes and took a shower...and saw a huge cockroach.
- The bus system (more well-off people use train) in here is funny, but I managed to get to El-Jadida.
