Trip to Ruzomberok

I visited Palo in his hometown Ružomberok. He has been ill for quite some time and I felt this might be the last chance to see him for a long time.
I managed to do the whole way there hitchiking, it took me (in Friday) 13 hours from Prague to Ruzomberok. On the way back, I managed to get to Brno, there, I cowardly took a bus. I have to find some good spots in Brno to hitchhike - the ones I had known don't work anymore... (or maybe it's just that it was raining and I was too low-spirited)
I met a lot of interesting people while hitchhiking. Perhaps one noteworthy (but scary) experience was being picked up by a paedophile (this turned out from talking), who wanted me to have a sex for money with him. I courteously declined and he let me get out. In fact, he didn't seem dangerous, just very lustful...Whoa, I wouldn't guess that I looked that young!
The nature surrounding Ruzomberok is really beautiful. On the other hand, I dare say the whole region is still somewhat...old fashioned, underdeveloped??
I spent the weekend with Palo and his family. I enjoyed the trips with Palo a lot. In life, Palo has a long way ahead of him. I just hope he won't step astray.
